Look for us at these great upcoming events!

Spring has sprung (kind of), and with it comes a crop of events for women in business and students in design! CurlyRed is always honored to be a part of these programs. You can catch our president and principal design, M. Kendall Ludwig at the following:

from the BBJ: “MEET YOUR MENTOR at the 2nd Annual Baltimore Business Journal BIZWOMEN MENTORING MONDAY EVENT. The event will offer attendees the opportunity to choose from 40 mentors who are the most influential women in the community for one-on-one coaching sessions for seven minute conversations.”

AIGA's Ink & Pixels Student Design Conference: April 11th, 2015

from AIGA Baltimore: “Ink & Pixels, AIGA Baltimore’s Student Design Conference, is one of the area’s largest events focused on helping students and recent graduates prepare for a career in design!

The event is divided into two parts. In the morning, industry leaders will present exciting breakout sessions discussing the different skills needed to succeed in the professional world, followed by a keynote talk from the Global Environments Design Team at Under Armour.

After lunch, attendees will present their portfolios to regional design professionals and receive constructive, one-on-one evaluations. Students and recent grads, this is your chance to show professional designers your portfolio in a no-risk, non-competitive environment. The portfolio review is designed to give you advice and insight that will improve the way you present yourself and your work. You will practice your interview skills and receive honest feedback about your portfolio and resumé.”

Towson University's Women in Leadership Conference: April 18th, 2015

from Towson Unviersity's website: “The Women in Leadership (WIL) Conference increases the leadership capacity of female students and prepares them for success in the workplace. This is a selective event, only 100 students nominated by deans, faculty members or staff, are invited to attend. Students participate in a full-day conference with workshops presented by alumnae, local businesswomen, and Towson faculty. The program also includes a post-conference networking event where a small group of students connect with college deans and conference speakers.

The theme of the 2015 Conference will be Identify. Evolve. Empower.”
